Students will study the anatomy of sheep brains in a hands-on activity. They will also reason (and guess) about which brains in several jars belong to different species.

Guests will engage in a variety of interactive activities that highlight concepts from Psychological Science that touch upon brain, cognitive, perceptual processes and emotion. These activities will feature amazing visual illusions, engaging sensorimotor tasks, thought-provoking short term memory exercises, mapping of visual shapes to speech sounds, visual inversion and captivating tests for recognizing emotional facial expressions. Join the Illumina Foundation at Padres Petco Park in the Park as we help visitors to explore the power of genomics. The Illumina Games is a series of traditional games that represent the various parts of genetics including the history of identifying traits, polymerase chain reactions, and even making your own emoji! We will also have airbrush artists featuring science related tattoos for all ages and a Dress Like a Scientist photo booth! Kids and adults of all ages are encouraged to visit!

One table with aerospace related science projects on it and 2 or more volunteers who can talk to the kids and show them our projects. We will bring our own table cloth cover and other exhibit materials, except the table and chairs.
