Mechanical Advantage

Mechanical Advantage is a nonprofit corporation and FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. Mechanical Advantage has been supporting this event since 2019 by providing hands-on robotics experiences for attendees of all ages. Attendees can have fun learning about robotics while operating table-top robots and driving a small, crowd friendly robot with soft tires that was designed just for large events like this. We have historically operated out of a 10’x10’ space.

SDCCU

SDCCU, one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is committed to helping educate the community by providing free educational resources in addition to the best banking products and services available. Stop by one of our more than 40 branch locations and find out why we’ve been voted BEST Credit Union for 24 years in a row!

Salk Institute

The Salk Institute will be on hand to share the latest research in our Harnessing Plants Initiative, an endeavor to sequester atmospheric carbon & reduce global temperatures. Attendees to our booth will learn about the power of plants, examine the structures of plant roots, & conduct a seed planting they can take home with them.
