Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair
The Student Leadership Board of the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair is planning simple, safe, hands-on science activities to engage students in grades K-12. They will also coordinate a "crowd source" activity, where the more participants, the more accurate the data. Each participant will provide a data point for the activity.
Vertex Pharmaceuticals
Our booth will consist of a few stations. One station the guests will build replica lungs in a cup using plastic cups and balloons to understand the effects of Cystic Fibrosis in the lungs. To help make this point we will also have a mini lung display hooked up to a computer monitor. At another station guests will make slime.
American Physical Therapy Association
Interactive activities at our booth will include life size, anatomically correct puzzles of the human skeletal and muscular systems for attendees to put together.

Marine Genome Project
The Marine Genome Project focuses on using genetic tools for marine conservation efforts, while increasing diversity, inclusion and accessibility to marine science. Participants can extract DNA from strawberries, assemble the genome of fish, build an underwater kelp forest, go on a virtual scuba dive, and help scientist identify different species living in the ocean

Brain-themed coloring and mazes, brain trivia games, Stroop effect demonstration (kids say the color of the word, not what the word says), pipe cleaner neuron activity (kids make a neuron out of pipe cleaner and plastic beads to take home)
FRC Team 2485 - the W.A.R Lords
The W.A.R. Lords are from Francis Parker School in San Diego, California. As part of our FIRST® involvement, we are dedicated to spreading our message about STEM and robotics on a national and international scale. We will bring our 125 lb robot to the event and show the design, coding, driving and competition process to hope to encourage others to get involved with FIRST robotics.
Southwest HS (SD)
The students will be determining how virtual reality goggles impact vital signs like heart rate and breathing rate. It should be pretty interactive. The lead teacher is working with a cohort of Biomedical pathway students. I can send some photos of the equipment.
